Add your child
Create one or more child profiles and choose the basic child-board settings.
How it works
Parents set the day and context in Parent Management. Children mainly see what is happening now, next and later, without all configuration appearing on their board.
Quick start
You do not need to configure every feature first. One child and a few activities for today are enough to get started.
Create one or more child profiles and choose the basic child-board settings.
Add activities or a bundle and divide the plan across morning, afternoon and evening.
Create for example Mum, Dad, Grandma, Babysitter or Camp and use a Base week and Exceptions when the week needs them.
Use Look ahead, special days, feelings, Rules & stars and savings goals only when they add something useful for your family.
Daily planning
Planning is about sequence and expectation, not filling a calendar. You can start simply and add more structure later without making the child board busy.
Who am I with?
The Week overview shows the resolved result for each child. Below that, you manage People & places, the normal Base week and only the Exceptions that differ from it.
Look ahead
Special days are managed for the family as a whole. On the right, you see what actually appears in Look ahead for the selected child.
Child board
The child board is deliberately calmer than Parent Management. Day view keeps today central; week view adds context without turning every area into a control.
Multiple children
Each child has their own planning and context. Shared elements can be assigned to multiple children so you do not need to manage everything twice.
Extra support
Not every family needs the same tools. Supporting features are there to make planning clearer, not to create more administration.
Offline & privacy
This Way Today is local-first. In the current version, child profiles, planning, Who am I with? settings and other family data are stored locally and the core app remains usable without an internet connection.
At App Store launch, you can try every feature for 7 days. After that, Full Access is €9.99 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
